Kate is the founder and CEO of Katchey Company Limited. And her passion for science is underscored by Katchey continuous sponsorship and support for science education at all levels, from the Federal Ministry of Education to the State schools and private schools. She believes quite strongly in the need for excellent quality science education.

Kate has continued to drive growth, ensuring uncompromisingly excellent quality products are matched with excellence in support services, resulting in sustained customer loyalty and making Katchey the undisputed leader in the laboratory supplies industry in Nigeria.

Katchey became the first and only company in the industry to attain ISO 9001 9008 certification and this was subsequently upgraded to ISO 9001 2015 in 2018. In 2006, Kate purchased 50% interest in Sciachem, a laboratory supplies company based in the UK. She subsequently purchased the remaining 50% of the shares in 2013. Kate serves on the boards of several companies in the USA, UK and Nigeria.

As Managing Director of Syntechsys International, he is the Chief Company Officer and in charge as the Country Director of the Syntechsys Strategic Unit. He takes responsibility at a regional level to manage and simulate the development of in-country business and technical capacity including new country entrants, in response to the ramp-up of Syntechsys in country growth programme of the SBU.
