Dr. Kingsley Abhulimen is a Technology Consultant of Syntechsys Corporation, U.S.A Software technology consulting firm and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Lagos, a PhD holder in Chemical Engineering. He is an active member in Several Professional Bodies such AICHE, ICheme, SPE, IEE (Ocean Engineering and Systems Cybernetics), Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE), NSChe. Dr Abhulimen is a well read with related articles in modern Leak Detection methods and Risk Safety Management applications. He has participated in peer review for several International and reputable Journals including Aiche Environmental Progress, Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, Annals of Biomedical Engineering.

Dr Abhulimen represented by, University Technology System Limited, manages the Research and Development programme for the company.

In 2004, Dr Abhulimen won the Maiden Edition of Nigerian Best Prize for Science with PhD Advisor which was sponsored by the NLNG. Abhulimen work on leak detection has been awarded a US patent 2005 (US 6,970, 808 B2). His novel technique on real-time computer assisted leak detection systems, for pipeline networks and Risk/Safety Management Patent for Deep water technologies and complex production /distribution systems has been significant in the oil and gas industry .

Dr Abhulimen has also been responsible for pioneering Industry Catalyst programmes in the Petroleum Industry, including research developments in Shell International E&P Joint Ventures, NNPC/DPR partnerships, University Catalysts coalition in Chevron Nigeria technology portfolio solutions development as well as engaging in synergies for development of technologies globally as one of the promoter of Syntechsys, a technology development Company founded in 2003 in the U.S.A . Dr Abhulimen has published Christian and Scientific Publications.
